We're working with a growing private equity-backed technology business that's looking for a Legal Counsel to join its lean and collaborative legal team. The company is active in the energy and infrastructure space, offering data-led solutions and SaaS platforms to help modernise and simplify a complex sector.
This is a genuinely broad and engaging in-house role that would suit a commercially-minded lawyer who enjoys variety and wants to work closely with the business.
Location: Remote-first within the UK, Solihull
Salary: Around £65,000 depending on experience
Type: Permanent
What you’ll be doing:

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial and tech contracts, including SaaS

Advising on data protection, regulatory compliance and IP rights

Supporting the business on risk, disputes and general legal queries

Working closely with commercial and operational stakeholders

Contributing to internal policy and governance
What we’re looking for:

UK-qualified solicitor with around 2 or more years of post-qualification experience

Solid background in commercial contracts, ideally with exposure to SaaS or technology deals

Comfortable advising on data privacy (UK GDPR) and intellectual property

A proactive, clear communicator with a pragmatic approach
