Legal Counsel (Commercial Contracts) NQ+

This is a new opportunity to join the UK Legal team and advise on commercial contracts. The team plays a key role in managing risk when engaging with suppliers and working on contracts. This role sits in the Commercial Contracts sub-team within UK Legal and reports into an experienced Senior Commercial Legal Counsel. You can expect a varied and busy role to include:
- advise on contracts with third parties, key operational and support services
- outsourcing agreements, service agreements, data sharing arrangements, SaaS terms, software licences, T&Cs, variation agreements, termination agreements and renewals
- advise the business in relation to risks in relation to third party contracts
- foster strong working relationships internally (in the UK and US) and externally
- advise on FS regs in relation to third party contracts and liaise with regulatory specialists within the wider team
- data protection and data transfers
You will be a team player who is able to demonstrate strong communication skills, robust drafting and negotiation experience, and commercial acumen. You will ideally have at least one year's experience of commercial contracts (which could be part of your training contract or previous paralegal experience) and are likely to be around the NQ-2PQE level.
This is a hybrid role which requires office attendance 3 days a week. Open to flexible working arrangements.
