Property Legal Counsel 4+
Rare opportunity for commercial property lawyer to move in-house in a dynamic and market leading business. You will join an existing legal team as it’s first dedicated transactional property lawyer and are likely to have gained at least 4 years’ experience in private practice (or in house).
A robust individual who is commercial in outlook would suit this business. You must be someone confident in broadening out your knowledge or finding out the answer to questions if outside your remit. Someone able to think on their feet and work closely with stakeholders at all levels.
This opportunity could suit someone with a broad property background or particular expertise in landlord and tenant, commercial or residential development work or property / asset management. Someone, with support, willing to pick up with some contentious aspects would be appealing although this is not a property litigation role.
Working closely with property managers, landlords, internal and external lawyers and board members you will get to grips with practical and commercial issues quickly and draw on your legal knowledge to advise the business.
This is an agile working role with no requirement to be based in the office although the ability to travel to development sites occasionally is desirable. A really strong opportunity for a real estate lawyer to make the move in-house.
